People are surprised when they get to know they will have twins, it means two children. Some parents are fascinated, others impressed. Some are extremely happy, other get scared.

For example, the doctor from Rome claimed in 1972 that he deleted from the uterus of the 35-years woman that had 4-months term pregnancy the embryos of 10 girls and 5 boys. This unique case of 15-children pregnancy was the consequence of taking pills to treat sterility.

Nine children is the biggest number of children born in the result of one pregnancy. The woman gave birth to 13 children in 1971. She gave birth to 5 boys and 4 girls, 2 boys were born dead, and the rest of them didn't live more than 6 days.

The cases when 10 "twins" were born (2 boys and 8 girls) are known in several countries of the world, for example, in Spain, China, Brazil.

There are so many impressive fact about the numbers connected with twin's families. For example, the woman from Italy gave birth to 15 pairs of twins in the result of 15 pregnancies. There are also some facts about the birth of nine pairs of twins. And in the both cases no baby survived.

It is also interesting to know the fact that a woman from the USA gave birth to one twin on November 11, 1995 and the second twin was born in 84 days on February 2, 1996.
